Riley / You: The main character of the series; charismatic, clever, and at times mysterious. After Riley's fateful encounter with the handsome Prince Liam, she leaves her dreary New York life behind and heads to Cordonia in pursuit of winning the prince's hand in marriage.
Prince Liam: Prince Liam is the quintessential modern royal: honorable, charming, devastatingly handsome. As heir to the throne, he must balance his duties to the crown with his desire for authentic connection. He searches for someone impossible: a queen that can navigate the pressures of Cordonian court and also find her way into his heart.
Drake Walker: Prince Liam's rugged best friend, Drake Walker is an outlier in the Cordonian court. He holds a deep disdain for palace politics, which often puts him at odds with the very world he must inhabit. Beneath his tough exterior resides depth, loyalty, and a protective nature, especially toward those he holds dear.
Hana Lee: Elegance and grace personified, the epitome of poise under pressure. Born into high society and often made to adhere to its strict demands, Hana has always met those high-stakes expectations with perfection. Underneath the well-curated facade, she longs for the courage to express herself, to find genuine loving relationships that extend beyond mere titles.
Maxwell Beaumont: Cordonia's most playful noble, Maxwell Beaumont is the life of every party, injecting a dose of chaos wherever he goes. But behind the wit and less-than-thought-out schemes, Maxwell carefully masks his struggles and those of his friends. Perhaps that's why, with his every jest, he seeks to bring warmth and laughter to those around him, acting as a cheerful beacon of light in the often-stoic world of the court.
Bertrand Beaumont: Duke of Ramsford and Maxwell's older brother, Bertrand Beaumont is not one to find humor in an uncomfortable situation. The polar opposite of Maxwell, Bertrand fills the role of the responsible older brother with his strict and proper ways. Though he is seemingly unfeeling, he is very loyal and dedicated to his friends and family.
Olivia Nevrakis: The Scarlet Duchess of Lythikos, Olivia Nevrakis takes pride in her strength, wit, and Nevrakis heritage above all else. Her abrasiveness makes her a hard person to get along with, but past that cold exterior lies someone willing to do anything for her allies.
Penelope Ebrim: Lady Penelope of Portavira is one of the sweetest nobles at court, but that gentleness comes with anxiousness that makes her vulnerable to courtly manipulations. But she's determined to push through and advance herself at court.
Kiara Theron: The poised, polished Duchess of Castelsarrelian, Kiara's elegance is matched only by her ambition. With her sharp understanding of court politics, she gracefully moves through the delicate dance that is aristocratic living. Hidden behind a cloak of refinement lies a woman with depth, capable of fierce rivalry and unexpected alliances.
Madeleine Amaranth: Ambitious and conniving, the Countess of Fydelia is a woman who's never let an obstacle stand in the way of her aspirations. As ruthless as she can be, there's no question how much she cares for the Kingdom of Cordonia. She's a formidable foe, but an equally powerful ally, if your interests align.

Cordonia is the heart of The Royal Romance's story. The kingdom has played host to all sorts, whether they are a noble well-versed in the Cordonian social season or a fresh-faced foreigner with something to prove, the kingdom has played host to all comers. For many that journey would start in the Palace Driveway and take you to the Palace Ballroom. As the night wears on, perhaps it would lead you to the Courtyard Fountain or Wishing Well.
But Cordonia's majesty is not limited to the palace. The city itself is full of wonders, too. Stop by the Town Center or pop into a Parisian Cafe, enjoy a show at the Opera House, and end your night with a spectacular City View.
If the fresh country air is more to your liking, then head out to Applewood manor where you can spend some time among Cordonia's world famous Cordonian Ruby apples in the Orchard, enjoy a Picnic on the lawn, and walk the Moonlit Gardens under the country stars.
But no visit to Cordonia would be complete without visiting all the various duchies within the kingdom!
